How do Guilds/Clans work?

Hello everyone,

 

Apart from the 100k needed to form a guild, how do they work? Are they only on the server that they are created on? If one is created on for example the PvE server can it migrate to PvP, or is it all inclusive? Are there any other benefits from having a guild? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Right now a guild/clan is nothing more than a nametag.

It helps identifying members in the community to certain clans.

In the future a clan might have more functions in terms of diplomacy.

If you create a clan it is only for that specific server.

 

It really helps out the other clans to see what clan you are affiliated with. It might be helpfull in creating and maintaining informal alliances with other ( nation perhaps ) clans.
