WilsonMG Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Greetings from Military Gamers! This is an official recruitment post for MilitaryGamers.com, the world's premier multi-platform, multi-game online community for US military service members. We're always looking for men and women to join our ranks who have either served in the past, or who are still presently serving, in any branch of the United States Armed Forces. If you would like to learn more about our community, or if you would like to register an account and become a member, please head over to our website at www.militarygamers.com. All recruitment is handled via our website. Once you've registered an account and have become a member, you will find information on our forums instructing you on how to join us in game. About MilitaryGamers.com Our members hail from every branch of the US military, nearly every occupational specialty, all rates and ranks, from E-1 through O-6, and from duty stations and their homes the world over. We have had a game branch (cabal, clan, corporation, fleet, guild, organization, society, squadron, unit, etc.) in nearly every major game title since 2007, where we have established a solid, respected name for ourselves. With thousands of members spread across countless games, we think you'll find that we're the last gaming community you'll ever need to join! Things You Will Find in the Military Gamers Community Camaraderie, esprit de corps, professionalism, a relaxed, casual atmosphere, and most importantly, folks who "get it". As our motto, "Tantum Nos Teneo", states, "Only We Know". Things You Won't Find in the Military Gamers Community Within the MilitaryGamers.com community, you will not find any "realism" units or the like. If that's what you're looking for, please look elsewhere. We do not simulate a military environment or organization. We don't have to. We've all "been there, done that". You won't find any phony rank structures or titles being worn by people who haven't earned the right to be addressed as such. We do organize our community staff, and occasionally some game branches using generic military titles, such as "MG CO", "MG XO", "MG Officer", "MG NCO", etc., because it is familiar to us and identifies who's running what within the community. These titles, however, do not magically bestow anyone with the right to expect anyone else to treat them as anything other than an equal. We have members from all walks of life, all branches of the service, and of all rates, ranks, statuses, and vocations, and when they cross our doorstep, everyone is treated with equal courtesy and respect. Within the MilitaryGamers.com community you will not find any puffed-up "internet commandos" or teenage "squeekers" giving you orders. Everyone is 18 or older. About Our Naval Action Branch We play as the Pirates on the War (Caribbean) server and our members proudly wear the "[MG]" tags. Our community is very active in Naval Action; we hunt together, craft together, and most importantly, help each other get the most out of the game! 4
Powderhorn Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Welcome to Naval Action! You'll find that there is a fairly strong military presence in Naval Action, and a strong amount of coordination between clans. As we do not have official national diplomacy in game, it is currently all clan-based. I strongly encourage you to talk to Tattered Flags (TF) and The Decatur Armada (TDA) so we can continue coordinating toward national goals. 1
WilsonMG Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 Thanks for the welcome! Most of us are just getting our sea legs, however, when we decide to branch out from local PvP to Conquests, we'll be sure to reach out to our fellow US clans to coordinate our efforts.
DeRuyter Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Welcome to Naval Action. o7 I'd join but I am already in a clan as you can see - We do have some prior service/retired folks in TDA. Does MG have a War Thunder branch? 1
WilsonMG Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 Indeed we do, though activity in that branch fluctuates heavily around updates and the like. Within our community there is a core group of our members that tend to play that genre almost exclusively. One week Armored Warfare may see more activity, while the next it may be World of Warships, War Thunder, or even some of the sci-fi ones like Fractured Space or MechWarrior Online. Activity in any game is very fluid within our community because once you are a member, you can move freely from branch to branch as the mood strikes you.Feel free to join up and become a member, we have no issues with "multi-clanning" so long as a member isn't doing something that causes a negative impact to our other members, i.e. like spying in a game such as EVE Online. It's up to each of our members to decide when, where, and how they game with us.
WilsonMG Posted February 3, 2016 Author Posted February 3, 2016 Our Naval Action crew is steadily growing! If you've served, come on out to our site and join your brothers-in-arms!
WilsonMG Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 MG maintains a casual presence in NA while it's in development so if you're past or present US military, come check us out!
WilsonMG Posted July 27, 2016 Author Posted July 27, 2016 We're still very much an active part of the US nation on PVP One. Now's as good of a time as any to join up. We have both new players and veterans of the game active daily.
WilsonMG Posted May 30, 2017 Author Posted May 30, 2017 We've been around for over ten years now, and we never stop recruiting. Now that the game is back to being playable after the long wait leading up to the wipe, we have expanded to the PvP Global server as well, and members are beginning to slowly return to the game. Head over to our website, register an account, and join us on our Discord server.
WilsonMG Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 Some of us have come back around and are playing regularly again and we've even picked up some new members in Naval Action as well. Due to the upcoming server merge, however, we've chosen to make Pirates our nation as we transition back to the Caribbean [PvP EU] server.
WilsonMG Posted August 27, 2019 Author Posted August 27, 2019 We're finally becoming active again for the first time since the game released. There's quite a few of us who are now playing regularly and slowly grinding our way back up. Now is a great time to come join your fellow brothers-in-arms! 2
Angus MacDuff Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Welcome to the US Military. I've always enjoyed 'Joint" missions. 1

We haven't played as the US since the servers merged. US waters are a little too quiet for our members who prefer to PvP more, and the relative safety afforded by the position of US ports also caused our members to become a little too complacent.
Bernardo Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 XO reporting in. Looking forward to getting the gang going in Naval Action.
WilsonMG Posted September 26, 2019 Author Posted September 26, 2019 Since we've turned our attention back to Naval Action, it has quickly become one of our community's most popular games. The MG Clan is rapidly growing and our members are quickly catching up in rank. We've also made a lot of friends since our return. If you've served, now is a great time to be a part of this adventure!
Bernardo Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Been having a ton of fun with MG and some of the other clans we've been working with to build up the Pirate nation. Trial by fire for sure getting hunted by the other nations, but we've built a very strong core that is sticking together and helping each other grow. Looking forward to many more battles!
