Lymark Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I knew he wasn't British due to the rank, but he had a British flag attached. We didn't engage at him in the battle, and saw him running away from us as a Danish player in OW. Should've I attacked him? Will I become a pirate if I kill him this way? I'm confused.......
SteelSandwich Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 When you join another nations battle, you will automatically get their nations flag. Meaning you cant attack him whilst he helps you in battle (green on green is forbidden), but in OW you can attack him, yes.
Bloody Hound Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) If he is on your team then no don't shoot him as that is friendly fire, Outside of Battle in OW any nation can join in to help another nation they get a option to join the British or whoever you are fighting aslong as the BR difference is not to great i believe, he could have joined the enemy team be he joined your side instead. However you can't choose to fight against you own nation for obvious reasons. So you as a British player you could see France V Spain battle in OW so you get a choice to pick who's side to help out. Lymark Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) Understood. Wouldn't it make more sense and intense If it would've ended up with 3 nations fighting each others though? I assume it'll be so sometime in the future? Edited January 25, 2016 by Lymark
SteelSandwich Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 OW = Open World List of terms: http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/6821-acronyms-list/ 3-way battles nearly never occurred in history(Correct me if im wrong). So i doubt they will ever be implemented. Besides that, it requires so much resources to do that for very little addition to the game.
maturin Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Never shoot anything with a green label. Not only will you earn negative XP for every hit, your account may be punished by the moderators (even for pirates).
