Completeing Missions In Pve?

I accept missions in PVE, it tells me to raid around a certain area for 2k gold and 50 xp.

Each battle I enter I am getting about 2- 3 hundred gold and 10- 15 xp.

Where is the 2k and 50?

Do I stay out there until I reach these amounts? Not sure how to complete a mission.

If you look at your gold and XP before you enter in that battle, you will see that 50 xp and 2k gold was added to the result of the battle earnings.

Did you enter the mission marker, or did you just randomly attack ships around it.

You need to click the white crossed-swords marker when close enough and press "enter" up to the right on the screen.

I found help in game, need to find one's that say Admiralty orders. TY for replies.

You need to look out for the instance marker that says "admiralty orders". That's your missions. Sounds like you just enter random battles.
