Issue About Being Dragged Into Combat With 1-3Th Rate Ships Outside Of Ports...

Not sure If it's just me, but I often get dragged into 3th rate AIs outside of Kingston because some new players think they could handle it with their cutters. This also happens when we're trying to gather people for PB as well, and I think some of them do this on purpose.

 

 Is this working as intended?

The mechanic has been that way for a long time. I think it would be very helpful if you could be warned if you are inside the 'tagging' circle when someone else is initiating.

 

As for messing up PB gatherings, by moving a little out to sea or to less frequented port as the rally point, that one is entirely avoidable.

It can be a pain but I've noticed that a lot of small ships can take on ships (up to the size of connies) and their fleets AND win AND get a lot of xp - plus it's very exciting

You've just go to chain then get in close and whittle them down

 

It really makes a nice change from endless battles against sml pirates
