Will There Be A Soft Wipe When Game Is Officially Launched?

Been hearing both that there will be and won't be one removing everything but our rank. Is this correct?

They did say we would not have XP wiped from here on out, but gold, items, ships etc could be wiped multiple times from now to full release.

No I don't, but I assure you I am not just making it up, it has been stated multiple times. It is safe to expect we could possibly see multiple soft wipes, at least if you expect it you wont be disappointed when it happens lol. Even if they don't plan multiple soft wipes, I imagine it could be very likely we would see at least 1. However they do not plan on wiping XP, unless there is some kind of major disaster server side I don't see why they would go against their word on that.

I thought I read it several times, just can't remember where lol.

I am hesitant on the redeemable items. If there is a soft wipe after we redeem them will we lose them seeing they are a one time thing? Or if we don't redeem them will we still lose them?

Wonder if admin can clarify.
