At the momemt i have the feeling that every hour or two in the Danish National chat, the people are trying to forbid the russian people to speak russian in there.

This discussion gets quite annoying after the third or fourth time in my opinion, so it would be nice maybe, if there were some rules wether all languages are allowed in chat or not.

I didnt find any rules on the forums, maybe i didnt search in the right place, though. In my opinion it should be either only English or all languages, only allowing some languages, even if they are the language of the nation in game would be kind of unfair.

Obviously what Prater says is right, no arguing there. However, introducing language-specific chat-tabs certainly wouldn't hurt and would curtail a lot of animosities in the chat between nationalities as well as make the general chat more accesible and ease the communication. This is how most games handle it and I see no reason Naval Action couldn't do the same.

Yesterday I was asking both Russians and Danes to stick to english, since that is the only way we can communicate and that is need.
(asking is rather far from forbidding... )
 

So filling the chat with danish and russian is not constructive in any way.
 

So I don't agree with the decision, but official rules are rules and I will naturally follow them...  But this rule will not solve the issue.
Only by making english the only acceptable language in the chat will this be solved and in the long run we need 3 nationchats for the danish-Norwegian faction. (danish, russian and english at least on PVP server 1)

I second the future option for langauge channels or the ability to create chat rooms. This would be a nice feature for later on.
