Jnoh Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Based on another game's issues similar to this - I have to ask: Is there a console command to turn OFF tesselation?I've had issues in more than one game recently with improperly implemeted tesselation causing the same exact crash (though I couldn't tell you if NVIDIA or the game devs were the root cause)
raskolnikoff Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 to turn tessellation off you need to switch to Low graphics settings but before trying this, please try to lower graphics settings to Medium and enable frame limiter (set to 30) in graphics options in game (for both combat and open world)
kwgirishace Posted January 23, 2016 Author Posted January 23, 2016 will try to turn the graphics down and frame rate
kwgirishace Posted January 23, 2016 Author Posted January 23, 2016 it seems like that worked can't believe that was the solution and locking fps
raskolnikoff Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 if locking fps helped it might be that your GPU is overheating
Jonash11 Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 i. I just wanted to let u all know I have found a fix to this working on the assumption that we all have a standard clock speed and a boosted clock speed on our GPU. I have a factory limit of I think 1157mhzbut my boost is 1212mhz. if I remember correctly. I crashed out of game like multiple times in a 3hour period. however I believe it is an issue with the engine of the game as I solved this problem (for me that is) with another game that runs the same engine. if u have a boosted clock speed u need to download a program like Precision X16 or something similar for Your Graphics card. when you have don this open it up and under clock your card back down to the normal MHZ ( mine back to 1157mhz from 1212mhz a drop of 55mhz). once I did this I have had no more crashing to desktops or Display driver resets. I hope this helps out people and solve a frustrating problem
Wishmaster2107 Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Anyone tried this too? Have the same problem and will try this out in a few days. Hopefully it works. You would be my hero then!
Jonash11 Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 I hope this worked for u as other people that have had this problem (friends of mine) have had the same issue fixed by doing this
James Thomson Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Locking FPS to 30 helped me too on my Radeon R 9 280. The GPU would overheat on OW and Battles. Now it runs game all ultra but FPS locked to 30.
