Ned Loe Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 When players tag Npcs all who get inside circle get pulled inside battle. Many random players get pulled while sailing to their destinations. This is very annoying. Before dragging random people inside the battle, could you add this message: Player (Name) attacked Npc (Name), do you want to join his battle? Yes/No Don't just pull everyone inside, people get angry. Also, circle size doesn't allow you to see who is in it when timer is up. Your mechanics suggests this - Sailor noticed battle in the distance tried to evade it, but was forced to fight by unknown force. Thanks. 6
Darkbaron Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 If you choose to attack its part of the attackers job to check who is going to pull, thats situational awareness But I second the option for players to decline joining a battle if they are just a bystander and not the target.
Schuetzengel Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 only grouped players should be pulled in 1
Leviathan Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I agree with the message and/or only group members get pulled in.
Voi_Ta Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 (edited) Maybe you could adjust the name of the thread so it is obvious what it is about. "Fix this little problem." is too general. I like the idea. Edited January 22, 2016 by Voi_Ta 1
Inkompetent Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Agreed. Title of thread sucks. Also agreeing with the OP though. At least for PvE battles we definitely need to get a choice if we are dragged in or not.
Marten van de Voerde Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I totally agree with this. Yesterday I accidentally sucked a wandering trader into pve battle, lost time for him and no help for me. Not mentioning those situations when dragged players decided that it is fun to actually destroy that ship you were trying to capture.
