Insta exploding, imbalanced or am I extremely unlucky.

Last night: my snow gets 1 shot and explodes. it had 1 dura. i lost it. logged off and waited for pvp server to open.

Today, its happened twice in a ROW. 3 missions complete, two of them i got 1 shotted. The first time, the npc (whilst sinking) captured one of my fleet cutters, then one shot exploded me at full health, then sank, i lost a dura and won the mission

RIGHT AFTER THAT , the first shot of the round, across the map, oneshot me and i exploded and lost another dura before i even had a chance to get my sails fully up.

what the actual fuck?

This was all in a snow.

 

 

 

 

Sorry to hear about the loss of your snow, but i would love to do that next to a bunch of cutters XD. It would be instant death for all around lol!

Not only Snows insta-explode now, they also get insta-capped by Ai. The other day I crossed the bow of an almost sunk Ai Snow with my Snow going about 8-9 kts of speed and all of a sudden - voila! - I was capped! Literally in one second! Some dev please tell me how is that possible...

Loads if fires and explosions in cutters the other night.  It seemed that I could hardly approach enemy before they disappeared in explosions.

Used a snow in beta and for a day during release, I never encountered a fire on it much less an explosion. Sounds like very bad RNG, I've never heard of this happening before.

Well, it happens now. You know they do change things during development, things you experienced during "beta" might not be the case now.

There might have been a coding bug associated with your "random explosions". I'd create a bug report in the game about it and they'll probably have a coder look at the code.

I report about five bugs a day, I even report discrepancies I have with the gameplay (trading prices, crafting, etc.) lol

One guy in my clan got one shooted in his snow by the stern chaser of a traders brig.

 

A few days ago i got blow up by a exploding snow after he was on fire for a few second, he killed my 1 dura mercury and 2 basic cutter that had joined me in that mission.

Same here. Over a year of play time and never 1 explosion to be seen. I've witnessed (and suffered) a number of fires, but they've always been extinguished.

Curious I have yet to see any fires in this game maybe cause i'm playing against ai but did this happen often during naval engagements or is it more for the rule of cool?

i was point blank rubbing with a snow (player) in my navy brig, his armour was gone completely on the side facing me and i was firing my cannons at him, didnt manage to set him on fire once, maybe it was the flooding putting it out

i have set a few ships on fire though other than snows and have seen a few burn for a good while 20-30 secs atleast but no explosions, yet.

maybe the issue isnt snows exploding more than any other ships though, maybe it is the mass use of them which is throwing the odds off, seems everyone wants a snow currently, chat is awash with have you seen snows for sale and prices of snows are vastly inflated 222222
