Hi.

I heard about this game long time ago. I have seen some old youtube videos about Naval action. So as it has released in steam ea today, i thought i would take a look. I would like to ask how finished this game is? Is it good ea game and how much work is left to do? How well optimized this game is? How often they update? Once a moth or every week?

For me it isn´t about is this game finished.  Its more about is this game worth the price today, not year or two down the line.

Any opinions?

BTW

Is there good youtube video showing Naval actions current state/contend/gameplay? From youtuber with audience, not someone with <1000 sups.

There are no large youtubers covering the game right now, i have however covered the game a lot so if you click the banner bellow you can get to see the game in the current state. In my opinion the game is worth the money.

Having 552 hours played I would say the game was worth every penny:p, but if you expect a finished game it still has a long way to go.

I bought the game just prior to Steam launch back in December. Have logged about 30 hours. No regrets. The existing game as it is now is quite playable and fun and addictive actually. I plan to play a lot more.

I fully understand the pain of spending money on an Early Access game, only to be disappointed. I can thankfully say this doesn't feel like one of those cases so far.

Bought it today and I have to admit, that I would rather say No.

If you don`t mind no tutorial, no manual, a blue background screen representing ports, missions that need a lot of work in terms of balance and result calculation, a UI under construction and whacky things happening to prevent successful boardings when the enemy is down to 3 people, then spend the money. If you mind, then better not.

40 bucks is basically full price and you buy an unfinished game. Caveat emptor, as they say.

I'm pretty sure it stated it was in development before you spent your money.

Did I say anything else? I was replying to someone else`s question and gave an as honest opinion as possible. And what is your excuse for your lack of manners, reading ability and argumentation?

Early Access does not mean a complete product, it has given some guys here 1000's of hours of fun but isn't for everyone.

UI at ports isn't done but the game is a lot more complete then Early Access games like medieval engineers was on launch and has more features then many other $40 titles.

Missions are not the main part of this game, you are meant to trade, craft ships, fight as a loner or join a fleet. Actually I believe that with a few extra additions this game will be worth more then Elite Dangerous or Just Cause 3 (I have both of them). I recommend joining a fleet and getting in with some guys, I currently belong to a fleet but work is cutting my evenings and I can't support the fleet.

Also I don't agree with the person who says it isn't worth (I would spend $60 on a title like this over some BF or COD BS) it but he is allowed to have an opinion that an early access game should be fully fleshed out and I respect that.

What can i say. I am really glad we getting players like you Voltaire1512. Welcome to NA.

I am sure you will make some nice and valuable inputs about this game in the future since you managed to figure all this out in one day without any tutorials and manuals.

Very well done matey ! :)
