Sir James Alexander Gordon Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 Yes. No problems there. I have really no idea why it does not work.

Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Missing C++ redistributable possible?
Sir James Alexander Gordon Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 what do you mean by that?
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Please try downloading and installing the C++ Redistributable from this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
Prater Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Before I used only shadow play, and set that to desktop mode, I would get this issue when I had video recording software running in the application mode. When the recording software would try to hook into the application at launch, it would crash. Do you have something like that?
Prater Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I am pretty sure they would an error for that.
Sir James Alexander Gordon Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 they don't! i wanted to buy a new video card any way.
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Hornblowers card was older and didn't support DX11. Not sure about OP.
Sir James Alexander Gordon Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 Is there a workaround for it? Maybe with drivers. because i have direct x 11 installed.
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Unfortunately, your video card is too old to play Naval Action. The GTX280 only can run DirectX 10 instructions, which means despite having installed DirectX 11 on your system, the card itself can't understand what it needs to do and the game crashes. To play, you'll need to update your hardware.
