Character selection problem

When I log in using my steam ID the character selection screen is empty. When I want to create a new character (using my steam id again) it says the character is already in use. However, I can not select this character, nor can I even delete it.....

 

what's the fix for this?

- I click on it (where they should appear) and then my characters appear.

- I wait and my characters appear.

Have you tried on both servers (PVE and/or PVP) ? Maybe a Steam issue (lag) ?

sharpe, had the same yesterday. I waited for 15 minutes for my character to show up, but i waited in vain.

 

Sollution:

Quit the game, close down steam.

Restart steam, verify game file cashe, it should download 2 files and then reboot steam again and you are good to go

guess what; those 2 files werent downloaded......

Have you tried on both servers (PVE and/or PVP) ? Maybe a Steam issue (lag) ?

 

Same thing happened on both PVE and PVP. Can not select any character to play with. Ping to 2 visible shards is 118.

 

interesting note in the logs: SendWebRequest: error while getting response from : couldn't connect to host
