Keep Crashing at Open world sea.

Hello everone, just wanted to give some info here, don't know if its a commen problem, but I was thinking of doing a trade run to the US coast, from Christiansted,
When I got about 8days out on sea, with a North direction, i started heading West, im now at around 11 days at sea. 

The game keeps crashing. it claims my drivers are failing, and it exits the game. 
never had any bugs/crashes like this so far in the game. 
I now entered again, and suddenly im close to land, at
X --108193.0
Z 530805.2

is this intended?

This is definitely not intended.

 

After it crashes, please, instead of launching the game itself, choose the "Send Crash Reports" option so that the Devs can see the logs from your most recent crash.

Keeps crashing when Thunder storm is happening at Open sea, just got new drivers from Nvida, and it keeps happening, even after update.

I'm using latest nvidia drivers on gtx 970 no issues...

I also have a GTX970 and zero crash issues.

 

I'm not saying there is not a problem in the code, there is plenty of optimization left to perform prior to full release, but 99/100 times, these issues are caused by a local driver/hardware/other software combination.

Unfortunately, it looks like your gpu is overheating or one of video memory modules is corrupted, both issues shows themselves only under heavy load.

You can try to lower graphics quality settings to low and enable frame limiter in both open world and combat (through in game video settings), restart the game and see if it helps

Please also check your game files through Verify integrity of game cache in Steam
