we alrdy have really good suggestions for the modules.

1. Make modules sidegrades rather than upgrades

2. Make all modules permanent

Provide examples so we're sure everyone follows, myself included.

Good example for an upgrade that is just a flat upgrade at the moment:

  • Current Improved Magazine Access: -5% Reload Time
  • Sidegrade Improved Magazine Access: -5% Reload Time, +10% chance of Fire on your own ship

  • Current Copper Plating: +2.5% speed
  • Sidegrade Copper Plating: +2.5% speed, -5% hull integrity

Or something of the sort.

In my Oppinion Arena-like Events like small Battles/Large Battles shouldnt be in the Game at all, maybe for training purpose without getting xp or gold, nor loosing Dura.

In an Open World PvP Game this can ruin the Game, i saw that happen with Warhammer online (completely different Game i know) years ago - noone was making open World PvP anymore only Arena. Because of faster xp.

Thats not the Case here, yet. But be warned ;-)

My personal opinion is that Events should effectively mirror Sea Trials 1.  Separate XP system, the ability to go all the way up to Santissima, no need to even own the ship in Open World, but absolutely no bearing on Open World itself.  You get Event XP from damage done in events, which grants you access to more ships the more XP you earn, but in Open World, you have all the rules there currently today, independent of Events.  This would allow GL to make SOL's very hard to get, very expensive, and very rare, but still allow people the opportunity to earn them in Events and play with them there, where they won't affect the larger game world.

so you want 2 separate games in the same package?
