Charles Caldwell Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 LATEST NEWS USN attack a RN Vessel outside of La Tortue... "it's an ill wind that blows nobody any good"...... Today at 18.45 CET 4 USN vessels attacked a single British Vessel without due cause or concern. It was noted that earlier today British Vessels in the same area aided 'without prejudice' numerous USN vessels in an action against the Danish scourge.... "So this is how Uncle Sam pays with honour" 7

Prater Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Who was the British Vessel? Because your non SLRN Brits have been attacking US forces.

Oliver H. Perry Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Perhaps American Sailors wrongly impressed and held in chattel were sighted and the American ship was moved to free them from the chains of British slavery. Were they affiliated or unaffiliated Captains? If affiliated, perhaps a letter of protest should be sent to their superiors. If unaffiliated, while we deplore the action, we are hardly able to take action against our countrymen without being branded pirate by our Government.
Chustler Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 I attacked him, and why not? There has been active hostilities between US and British players for over a day now. Any agreement ended honourably. See you out there boys! 3

Powderhorn Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Free Trade and Sailors' Rights! Remember the Chesapeake! The non-aggression pact ended yesterday, which you, Charles, verified. Your yellow journalism, attempting to paint the Americans as dishonorable, does a disservice to your nation.
Oliver H. Perry Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Alas, the packetboat reached me late Mr. Prater. The scurrilous British dogs will not escape my guns! Free Trade and Sailor's Rights!!!
Charles Caldwell Posted January 3, 2016 Author Posted January 3, 2016 Free Trade and Sailors' Rights! Remember the Chesapeake! The non-aggression pact ended yesterday, which you, Charles, verified. Your yellow journalism, attempting to paint the Americans as dishonorable, does a disservice to your nation. I did, but a non aggression pact ending doesn't always means aggression should begin..... As for yellow journalism, I reported the facts that's all... we helped out and joined forces with the USN to defeat the Danes, 1 hour later the above. Draw you own conclusions, Im sure the community will. 3
Hugh Latham Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 This is all very like historical skirmishes Muddy diplomatic status coupled with communication delays resulting in local hostilities. 4
Nathanial Blackandecker Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 You chaps can do whatever you like as long as you leave our tea alone. o7

Mighty_Alex Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Thank God someone decided to attack these demons! Don't listen to english propaganda. Remember, they are the aggressors. If you don't fight english imperialism, everyone of you will be eating horrible food and drinking tea! 5
Flag Captain Rendenbrandt Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Let the cannons of war be heard once more! Down with the dirty American dogs! Edited January 4, 2016 by Rendenbrandt
Hugh Latham Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Bitter battle at Port-de-Pais ends in US loss. Let loose the dogs of war!
Nathaniel Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Very narrow port battle which pretty equal forces which could go both ways. Extremely enjoyable, so congratulations to everyone involved. Let's it be the start of a glorious and active war
Prater Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Headlines! British Gank of 13 vs 3 US turns into slaughter of British forces. After British forces broke and started fleeing, US reinforcements moved in to mop up and massive battles erupted near Puerto Escondido, Cuba. US losses: 0
Ian2492 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Breaking news: The US naval reinforcement are now able to sail over mountains! Sailors beware. 1
Nathaniel Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) My correspondents are reporting with accuracy that those were mere nightly random skirmishes that our recruits and aspiring officers used for fun and training. Thanks for the latter! No line of battle ships were even close to getting caught up, and if two lost frigates on our side constitute "massive battles" for you, have fun with it gentlemen and let's meet at Port-de-Paix on the morrow.
