Hi,

I have a windows partition on my imac to play games and the GPU is the GeForce GTX 675MX 1gb.

I love naval  combat and game labs gettysburg, really want to give the alpha to go. But Im not buying until Im assured it works.

My imac is pretty top notch, apart from the GPU, its not amazing. Will this game run? Anyone else run this with notebook gpus?

Thx

That mobile card is not bad at all.

It would seem that the GTX 675MX is a rough equivalent to a GTX 560Ti and a Radeon HD 6870.
From what I know GTX 560Ti is more powerful than GTX 650. So GTX 660TiGTX 560Ti GTX 675MX> GTX 650

I have a GeForce GTX 650 1gig and it works flawlessly. I hope this helps.

Captiva said he runs the game flawlessy, and since you have a better GPU than him, Naval Action may run pretty good on your laptop.
We still don't know what are the requirements of this game, so it's pretty hard to tell how will the game run on your PC or laptop.

I think 1080p lowest settings, 720p medium. Who knows...
I've found this video, here we have GTX 660 Ti

In the first few minutes, the user is playing with graphics settings. You can see how it affects the FPS ( indicator at the top left). When he turns down AA to x2 he gets 50fps, if he would have turned it off completely he would get around 70-80 fps.

660 Ti gets around 10-20 FPS more than 560 Ti in most of the games.

720p 60fps 100%
should run medium, 1080p 60fps might be possible with everything on low, but it probably will go around 35ish-45ish fps Edited by Count Maurice Benyovszky

Thanks for your input everyone. I bought the game, and it runs smoothly. I even have a few settings on high and ultra. So no worries there if anyone in a similar situation with an imac with this card in the future would like to try.
