Booyaah Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 We should not have to Home Cam below the water to see shallows IMO b/c the water in the Bahamas should be clear enough to see through. Take a look at the first 60 seconds of this video: 4
OlavDeng2 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 I agree, the shallow mechanics need improvements, can i however say that the clearity of water can be decieving, as someone who has scuba dived in malaysia, the clearness of water can make things look shallower than they actually are(seen places where it looks like it is maybe 2-3m deep but is actually closer to 20 meters All in all, i would say we need to have actuall numbers of how deep the water is and how deep the hull of the ship sticks in the water and then limit where a ship can go based on that rather than the binary shallow/not shallow, however that is hopefully something for the future. 1
Brogsitter Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 If you had have a look at the underwater surface, it is very flat, so yes.... i totally agree with this.
Jacob van Heemskerck Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 shallows are marked by breaking waves, white heads on the waves and they become very short. i don't know how they could implement this into Naval Action but it would look great if it can be done. see picture below. Flat sea at upper picture, braking waves mid picture (beginning of shallow waters), land/beach.
