Any ship combo is possible but we usually try to keep them the same or at least similar to keep the fights even. We have done some 2v2 with a Constitution and a Surprise on each side and other combos. You wouldn't want to go up against a Victory in one though.

I have a challenge: 3 Constitutions vs 1 Victory :D

Video to be shot from the Victory of course ;)

3 consti vs a single victory is a clear win for the 44guns  they will simply swarm her and pound her from all sides unless the consty's have the cillywilly-syndrom and get their mast shot of right at the beginning

well 3 Consits vs 2 Bellonas could be interesting.

Could be an even fight.

the Frigates would have to use teamplay and try to isolate the 74s while the 74s would have to try to stay together to prevent the Frigates from raking them.

This would also be a plausible battle historicly.

Lets say 3 American 44s catch a lone 74 (wich are pretty ok odds for the Frigates) they give chase but are then caught by another 74 and brought to battle.

Causing a 3vs2 engagement.

I guess he counted in the front and aft guns.

The actual guns on the sides are correct with 74 and 104.

Also the Surprise is rated a 34 gunner. (+4chasers)

USS Constitution is officially a 50 gun frigate.

Chilly is forever losing his Bowsprit. The Naval yard most hate him at this point.
