Kaaru62 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 when sailing in open world, i zoom in to the deck view. its mostly because i like that view, but partially because having my wake in view drops my FPS badly. right now i cant zoom in because the transparency does not work, and had to turn down most of my graphic settings so my FPS would not drop too badly when i see my wake. please fix the open world sail transparency so i can turn my settings back up. no hurry on the boat wake / FPS drop, that is probably an optimization thing. 1
Alex B. Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 We can do it in future ASAP. Now it is low priority task.
NorthernWolves Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Good to know it will be coming back, I used to enjoy deck sailing. 1
312_JS Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) I also love deck sailing in OW. This makes it impossible. I would prefer no sails at all when zoomed in until the transparency is sorted out. Edited December 16, 2015 by 312_Jura
Macjimm Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Positioning oneself on the deck would be wonderful. Both in OW and instances. Currently the view is nailed to a point part way up the mast. I too like transparent sails as it is complicated to move the view over and see under them or around them. But please don't remove them completely or we will be forced to use the UI to see how much sail is up. Or best add remove all sails as an optional toggle.
Danvers Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 8 of 10 times sails are not transparent when entering OW. Even with settings on "low". FPS is OK = 20 and Ping 18 with "high" settings or even customed settings. Transparent sails were OK for 4 months and only recently this problem occurs. I have to switch from port to OW 10-15 times before sails are OK again. Any solution for this problem?,
Ned Loe Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Can you guys add transparency amount slider to settings?
