Now i'm not sure if anyone would also be interested in this... But i've been thinking maybe, that it might be cool to have like Land Battles like Sid Mieres' did or something like Napoleon: total war. I know this is "Naval" action, but i think it'd be a cool like side part to this game maybe. Idk ^.^

It's already been discussed somewhere (in the port battle thread ?).

Someone raised the ambitious idea (dream ?) of mixing GameLabs' Ultimate General technology and NA to have naval and land battle phases during port capture.

However, Naval features first. :)

finished? never! so many nice shipplans out there.

true, however the making of ships doesnt require a lot of programmers time, so the programmers can work on land battles while modelers build ships :D

I guess (even if I don't know) that finding the right tuning of the sail model for each ship might be quite a work though.

That is true, however i suspect that the devs use classes and such to make actually coding in new ships tens of times quicker, otherwise if they havent done something like this il be a bit dissepointed.

More like land battles i would happy to see boarding fight visualisation or some kind of animation of it.

I imagine rainbow 6/door kickers planning style. You would have a minute or so after boarding to set tasks and orders to your crew then both players would hit the play and see the action pan out. Pause, repeat planning, play again.

Personally I'd prefer more Naval features than land based. To me it's a waste of developer resource and time.

UGG is a different team than Naval Action.  If they make a UG2: Napoleonics and have a link with Naval Action, then that is not a waste of developer resources but their UGG team making a new product.  Sort of like Eve and Dust514 are two different games but linked together.  1 a space mmorpg and the other an online FPS.
