Night time OW could be so much brighter and colourful - see real photos

I find the night time sailing very poor visuals when they could easily be far brighter and colourful. I attach real photos taken in the Caribbean. As its a game even further enhancement for poetic license could be permitted.

Brighter?! My nights aren't that dark at all. Need much darker nights if you ask me!

Im not an 18th century sailor, but when I log into game I am....

 

Poetic license allows a games designers to make their environment more pleasant to game in, it doesn't have to be so dull. I am not expecting fireworks and orange moons but what I dislike is drab grey hour after hour.

Those are pictures made on Fuerteventura by my S6 during "red blood moon night" view was spectacular btw  Not so bloody as expected but still...

Lots of stars on a cloudless night though, as long as you are away from the light pollution, which of course was far less in the 18th C.

Yep, clear skies without light pollution and the night sky is simply amazing. If you only have lived in populated areas and not had a chance to get away it is highly recommended!
