TheGrey Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Ok I have a question , if I choosed a ' Neutrel ' character will I still be able to attack or get attacked by players in the PVP server ? I remember read somewhere playing Neutrel on PVP server is limited to PVE action , is that correct ?

JimDandy Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 PvE simply because I don't like the PvP crowd, some are nice but most are there only to destroy your fun and gank you, some even can't take it when they lose and make it personal, they start with profanity and then do everything to make you quit. I've played EVE Online for 3 years so I know very well how these guys can behave. In PvE I can do my own thing and when I don't like someone I can just ignore him, but I still hope the Devs make it challenging for us in PvE and add Group Events so we have to team up with other players to beat the AI and also make it able for Bots/AI to attack you when you're sailing in the open and/or in enemy regions. And now that they've added a PvE shard I want to thank the Devs for thinking about us PvE crowd also, I hope to spend many hours playing your beautiful game! YES... uh, what he said that is

On second thought if I like it and start investing time building up my little empire is it going to be wiped at some point in the near future? this would be a good thing to know now rather than later. maybe I better wait ... dog gone it!

But if it's gonna be like Elite Dangerous where PVE players affect the same "universe" and PVP players can't do anything about it, Im against.... So I have a few questions, how does it work? If PVE players capture a port, does that port get captured on the PVP server too? Can I go grinding my rank on PVE and then switch to PVP to gank new players with my now unfairly uber ranked char?

PVE cant capture ports 3. No as only exp is shared, also PVE cant capture ports 4. goodluck ganking if you odnt have the gold to buy the bigger ships.
Siegfried Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 If PvP gives you more XP earn, then you, in PvE server can't make more rank than other player in PvP in the same time. And in PvP server you can make the same XP only againt the AI. And you will have 0 money in PvP server if you earn all your gold in PvE. And if you always play PvE, then when you fight against a PvP player who always fight PvP... good luck, you'll need it.
