Liberty Jack Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Just a thought... but what would make a trader a pirate with contraband goods when all they seem to have on them are standard materials? My idea is that those traders who are carrying contraband have nation specific goods... like Danish beer, Swedish Iron, American Cotton etc..... that way players from other nations have the chance to sell those items for profit? Thanks for listening to my idea.. Liberty 13

Prater Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Smugglers don't necessarily have unusual goods or goods that are outright illegal/contraband. Smugglers attempt to skirt the port authorities and pay tariffs. That is what makes their goods illegal. Or their manifests don't contain everything they have.
