Edward Vernon Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 This morning whilst crafting a Cerberus, I received notification that I had also crafted a Surprise Recipe (joy!). However I cannot find/see it anywhere.... (dismay!) Can someone take a look and restore/resupply this to me please?

Is there anything taken into account that means I will not ever get another Surprise Recipe drop? For example does the client know I received one already so that I can never get another?

GrapeShot Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I've pretty much given up on recipes -- they never drop for me. Frustrating being behind the 8-ball in the ships you can craft because you can't get a dice roll in your favor. 1
VictusB Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Yeah, the whole RNG thing for ships required for progression is pretty 'meh' but I'm sure it is just a placeholder system till something better comes along or they get the data they need. Though gotta admit I do like a system where not EVERYONE can get EVERYthing. Perhaps a limit on the total recipes you can know or limit per class? i.e. If you choose to specialize in the mercury brig you lose the ability to learn Navy Brig or cerebrus or somesuch.

GrapeShot Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Much better to solve the problem of some people not getting recipe drops in spite of weeks of the crafting grind. It is a far, far worse problem than some lucky people getting multiple drops.

No limit on how many you can have or hold. So you are not doomed.
