Powderhorn Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 So, the Catalan region of Spain is holding a vote currently, which is seen as a de facto referendum on independence. A well known character, Stephen Maturin, consistently desired Catalan independence some 200 years previous. If the vote comes off as the independence minded hope, what do you think the odds are of the region separating? What ramifications do you see?
