Ojibwa_Wind Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Hello, I have a few suggestions and comments regarding the game. Please be patient w/me. 1) Crafting: I have notice that crafting is poplar w/ a lot of players. Other players. like me not so much. I suggest that Capt s. who craft have the opportunity to sell their crafted ships on the open market. These ships could be available in each countries ports and pirate and neutral ports as well. Thus giving the Capts the opportunity to sell crafted ships to a wide range of players. They could be up for cash and trade item's for example, a Belle Poule is on sale for cash but the seller would take cash and say two captured ship's, like brig's in trade so the crafting Capt can break them for plans etc. Making a profit but selling at a reasonable price. If ships are not going to be available to non crafting players at least this is an option to buy solving two demand's, Those who want new ship's to purchase and those who want to make cash. Maybe the Dev's can come up w/ a game plan. A note** Pirate's take, drink and take again. No time to craft, thus a short life span as other nations were out to end their terror of the sea's. 2) Port Conquest: I have read in the game that this might be an option one day. I suggest that the port's if this is going to happen have the ability to defend one self, i.e by AI and as it is set now when others go to battle, other players have the opportunity to join in to defend. Capturing loot and raw materials should be the options here, not the port itself. Since ports produce certain materials, the port would rebuild itself. A damage port takes more time producing materials while rebuilding. Given the fact that real life gets in the way of game play, if nation's, pirates can take ports w/ no opportunity for players who port there to defend. Items would be lost. It would be better that player's keep their loot materials. ships and the like so their game play can continue without having to start over each and every time. Being away from the game due to "LIFE DEMAND'S" and coming back in and noticing what you once had is now gone after being away would, I believe deter player's from wanting to continue playing. 3) Trading and surrendering:This relates to crafting too. PIRATE'S did not usually trade/build i.e a ship. They usually got a ship from a pirate captain dying in battle or bought one or they take what is not their's.. If I play this game according to the way pirate's lived, I have no time to trade from port to port me and my crew are to pillage the sea's for loot, ships and the such and make merry with the wenches and rum, lol. PIRATES sail wide and far to take want others have. I plan on taking my fair share. Trading is good for those nation's that depend on it,players who craft ship's depend on trading to build their empire's so to speak, make large sum's of cash. PIRATE'S, who need's trading when other's are doing the work for them mate's, If they error in sailing into our water's aye, they be making us rich with the bounty of the sea's yes. Make ye come for you and they shall feel the cold tip on my sword, Surrender ye goods and be off with ya, saving your ship and crew. The surrender button already in the game should allow a player to call a halt to a battle to save the ship, surrender it's good's and continue on with it's trip.. This should be only available to trader ship's only. If a battle type ship enter's the battle to help the trader and the trader still call's a halt. and surrender's it's good's, The battle still ends. I like the way the game is going, I feel this is going to be a Great game with many player's, Lots of different trails for players to take so to speak. These are just my thought's for the game. I thank you in advance for the time with this thread Respectfully, Purple Pirate :+) 1
