Release date?

Does anyone know if there is a determined release date for NA? I can't stand waiting, it's so beautiful!

I believe the standard answer is "when it's ready." The game is in early alpha testing and Game Labs has a lot of work to do to round out a full MMO, but they're generally doing a bang-up job of polishing ship-to-ship combat right now.

I know how you feel, but keep in mind, a great many games have failed due to releasing in a rush.

These guys are still in early days of development, and they have a long ways to go.

I think its will be a while before it is completely finished. How long I don't really know. From what I have seen so far it appears the developers are developing it in steps focusing ship related things, combat 1st, sailing, then later the open world and what comes with that. That's just an observation and speculation though. I could be completely wrong.

 

I think patience is really important here. Also we should be realistic on what they can do and not let you imaginations run too wild. TTW Rome 2 is a example of people expecting way more then what they were going to get. I am by no mean comparing NA to Rome 2, but if we let our imaginations run to wild a similar thing could happen. Me I expected Rome 2 to turn out the way it did. Because I was a realist.

I for one cannot wait for this game to come out. PotBS was and still is one of my favorite games of all time, nothing like blockading port royal by myself and hearing all the QQ as I take their ships.

Well we can say an loth of things but if this game is gonna be the shit and it will be we just have to be pattient there are manny players from POTBS that are waiting for this game. Manny players left the game early after it got released because of sony taking it over then it wen't back and it got even more terrible i think i got like still 50 notes at my account sitting somewhere inactive :-) hehehhehe ill whayt and tyr and help the guys whit anything just do not mess it up i bed it will be really awsome.
