Foehn Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Hello everyone, I'm about to buy the alpha version of this game and would like to know if my gt 630M will run this game at least 30 fps. Regards.
raskolnikoff Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Unfortunately game will be barely playable on 630m
Ned Loe Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I would get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127878 or get R9 280x on ebay for cheap

Blackjack Symons Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I'd point out guys, I play NA on GT630m and get 15 frames on low-medium. It's not 'barely playable'.
Ned Loe Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Well if you want to play games on laptop prepare to spend $1500 at least. If you build desktop then you can get away with $700+. http://secure.newegg.com/Shopping/ShoppingCart.aspx?submit=ChangeItem AMD FX-6300 Vishera 6-Core 3.5GHz (4.1GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W FD6300WMHKBOX Desktop Processor GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 6.0) AM3+ AMD 760G + SB710 USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard Mushkin Enhanced Stealth 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Desktop Memory Model 992110S Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive Rosewill Galaxy-01 - Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Three Fans Included, Up to Four Fans Supported, Top-Mounted ... It's not 'barely playable'. i would call 15 fps between unplayable and barely playable, 30 fps is between barely playable and accaptable, 60 fps is good. and secondly, why are you guys going on about upgrades/buying a new computer? OP did not ask for it and it is possible he wont be able to afford a new system?
Blackjack Symons Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Then you're spoilt, Olav 15 FPS suits me fine. There's no lag other than server/internet lag. 1

There's no lag other than server/internet lag. il admit, im spoilt, i used to game on my laptop(on that laptop i was happy if i got 10 fps in something like league on the lowest settings) but after building my first gaming pc... 30 fps is minimum for me. 1
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 This isn't exactly twitch gaming. I found 15fps to be extremely playable. 1
OlavDeng2 Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 This isn't exactly twitch gaming. I found 15fps to be extremely playable. that is true, it comes a lot down to personal preference, too mee 15 fps just isnt smooth enough for me to comfortably play the game. To me, pretty much any game at 15 fps wether it is twitch or somethign extreamly slow like civ 5 is unplayable at 15 fps.
Ned Loe Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 15 fps? you guys need to feel what 100 fps feels like. I would kill myself with 15fps.
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 The point is that if the card will run the game, at something that is playable (if not perfect), we should not be discouraging people from trying the game. Getting told you can't run it simply because people are spoiled with expensive rigs that others may not be able to afford does not do anyone any service. You don't need to discourage them, please tell them honestly that it should run at low FPS, that many of us have found it to be playable, and it's up to them to make the decision on whether or not they want to try it. 1

A lot of people will blame the game if they buy it and not their hardware, and this honestly is not a good thing(granted this is not what OP has done or most likely will do, but most gamers know near to nothing about hardware)
