Name Change

Just a thought I had - perhaps make it possible to use a one-off name change for people who are unhappy with their names? I appreciate that some difficulties might arise as a result, but I'd like to be able to change my name without starting anew. Or is there perhaps a way to do it already (e.g. contacting admins)?

Name changes are not possible in the alpha version. 

Offensive names could happen and because it is very time consuming to change the names they will be just banned from all chats ( but will still sail in the open world)

Shouldn't changing name be as a shop option? There will be a shop, for premium ship, it should also provide some services, like name changing, server transfer (if there are several servers), and the like.

The ability to change your name isn't high on the list.  Hopefully it will be implemented eventually, but for now, I wouldn't hold my breath.
