SCL Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) Today is the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain and to mark the occasion spitfires and hurricanes have flown in from the USA and Europe to join the flying spitfires and hurricanes in Britain. It will be the most planes flying together since the second world war and it should be a great spectacle (weather permitted this is Britain you know ) There will be a total of 40 aircraft flying around the south end of England. For anyone living in Britain there is a program on channel 4 at 8pm to celebrate the event. Capt Bubbles Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Since all budget-cuts this is one of the last squadrons the Dutch Airforce has, but its history started 75 years ago: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No._322_(Dutch)_Squadron_RAF Grtzz Bubbles
