Hello

I just want to know straight answer for a question:

- Are there any rules about using different langage on global chat?

If I remember correctly it was absolutely legal to speak in native language on this chat. Something changed?

I'm asking because today Puchu told me to speak english or go to school, after I wrote few lines in polish with my poor-english speaking friend in global (priv chat was also bugged and didnt work for us, i know i know, we could reload etc. etc. but thats not an issue here).

Just want to make it straight.

Cheerz!

Im pretty sure it is allowed to talk any language you want in global chat. Just to set this right:

"a few lines" is this:

And you are in the same nation, so you could have made a group or even a private chat, since it was only you 2 talking.

Global chat and help chat are chats meant to help and discuss with everybody. And a lot of people can learn a lot if global and help chat are in a language that most ppl understand. Many questions dont have to be asked over and over again by new players if they can just read the help chat. And if you have to explain something in more detail, there are allways private chats and group chats.

Saying in polish or another language: "hey, nornica ive got a question, can you explain this to me in polish please, you have a pm." Is no problem at all. (i know it was bugged for you, this is nothing personal.)

The problem is, that you are excluding everybody that doesnt speak your language from the ongoing discussion or help topic. That is rude imo.

I would never want to forbid you from speaking any language you want in global chat. Just if everybody would keep speaking its own nations language in global chat, it would be a mess.

I have to agree on puchu on this one, if 99% of the player base was polish... fair enough however most of the people playing this game doesnt understand polish as a result even if it is allowed and it is something only between 2 people, it is rude.

btw: global language chats would be a nice feature. Make a "polish", "frensh", and so on, chat that you can optionally add to your chat bar, that would be a good thing but that's something for release and not for the alpha state of the game.

It's Caribbean. Melting pot of cultures.

All languages are allowed in chat. Its that simple. Players are given tools to help themselves to clean up the chat.

Ignore list allows you to ignore other languages.

The game is universal, the world is multicultural... all languages are welcome surely?

Very pleased to see this.

Hello.

Puchu paste only the chat from Help channel. If anybody can speak polish those lines are something like that:
- charles i wrote you a pm, cant you see it?
- no

-write again

-i saw yours

- you still cant see it?

-no

-nothing came

-you are in pirates?

-probably they gave the limit for pm between nations

Here are few lines of what i couldnt write on pm about choosing dutch nation after latest wipe, and that i dont have a time to play a game atm, and my last line is:

-lets go talk on global so people wont cry here.

I dont understand why Puchu didnt copy paste the logs from Global channel where he wrote few lines which were much more interesting, but lets just leave it.
This topic was about global channel, not help.
Also issue with "no pm messages" was rightfully on help channel.

And also, I dont know how did You assume why we were in same nation?

Closing this case, thank You for quick response.

Ya this was very clearly stated some time back. All languages are welcome, and frankly I am appalled that anyone would ever try to say differently.
