Kaaru62 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 when a ships is captured and the battle ends, instead of just sending the ship to an outpost, have it so you have to make it a fleet ship. you also have to send guards and any replacements to the captured ship from your crew. returning a ship to local port allows you to just sell it, but returning to an outpost lets you dismantle it for parts and modules. instead of capturing, give the option to loot the hold (no modules) and then set the ship free (ai or player). 1

Tell me, how would that work when you get attacked? can you choose which ship to send into combat? If your prize gets targeted, can you only stand by and watch? can you participate? Ronald Speirs Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Its an interesting dynamic that could be added in, the current system works for now but would be interesting to see something different like this in the future to add more immersion to this game, there is heaps of potential to make this the greatest Age of sail masterpiece of our time.
