admin Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Please post videos and screens you like a lot here If we like them too - we will let them to be open to public and not subject the NDA (and maybe use them in our marketing as well) CTRL - H switches off UI for better visuals ps - for Youtube please use unlisted video setting until it has been approved. 1
admin Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 Screenshots can be made by pressing P they are stored in game_data (or client_data) in the screenshot folder
BungeeLemming Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 will you please read the very first post admin said? quote:" CTRL - H switches off UI for better visuals" nothing to add
maturin Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 The actual NDA agreement was in legalese and seemed to have some grey area. Are we allowed to say anything about the current game mechanics on the non-testing forums?
BrutishVulgarian Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 CTRL H doesn't work with my ship sunk and I find that's my best time for photography.
Oneironz Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I took some screenshots, feel free to use them for whatever means Decided to get to the lighthouse to check it out more closely. What a odd island! Admin, I want to be sure, where should I upload the screenshots? To an album like I did here? I haven't used tinypic.com, as it would break the NDA, uploading confidential files to the web, without being Game-labs website. If I did something wrong, I apologize and feel free to erase the files.
Johny Reb Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 some screens i take 1XScreen_08-03-2014_13-10-16.png1XScreen_08-03-2014_13-10-24.png1XScreen_08-03-2014_13-11-11.png1XScreen_08-03-2014_13-13-47.png1XScreen_08-03-2014_13-14-11.png1XScreen_08-03-2014_13-16-30.png1XScreen_08-03-2014_22-39-37.png1XScreen_08-03-2014_22-50-42.png That shot of the surprise getting T-boned is an awsome shot
admin Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 you can freely distribute the screens posted in this topic just add Naval Action Alpha to them somewhere in the corner.
admin Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 Probably it should be in a bug section but not here.
Oneironz Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 I'm not reporting a bug, it's something to do with Sony Vegas Pro 12 settings, the recorder program recorded just fine. It's a video that I wanted to make and share!

It's a video that I wanted to make and share! it belongs to bug section on the ship physics this video conveys no value about the game, just showing collisions and bugs in physics also what do you mean by t-bone? crossing the t was not used in the age of sail it is for the early battleships (Tsushima era) only

Well, when I say T-bone is in a gamey language, learned that in POTBS and I cannot unlearn it
admin Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 I understand, I'll post the video there. Well, when I say T-bone is in a gamey language, learned that in POTBS and I cannot unlearn it yes please )) delete the video so it does not go anywhere.
Johny Reb Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 T boning is when one ship rams into the side of another ship. Its a potbs term at least. You are limited in your ability to stear at this point and was often used in one of its variation to force a boarding action.
Barberouge Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I didn't record it, but trying to T-bone a ship which sails at full speed leads to an instant sink (happened in a battle on saturday). That's a good difference from PotBS, even if physics and damage need tuning.
Oneironz Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Well, in the video I recorded, two constitutions ran over the surprise at the same time, the surprise was fine. The collision systems are funny nevertheless, it's dynamic. 2
BrutishVulgarian Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Would this be OK to share? http://youtu.be/VML3DMDz008 1
admin Posted May 5, 2014 Author Posted May 5, 2014 Ok with thooses one? Would this be OK to share? http://youtu.be/VML3DMDz008 yes please 1
Clinch Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Brutish and Admin-I posted the above video to our forums at http://www.thelordz.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=15255&p=164052#p164052 . With 5000 members (who play Napoleonic games) you should get a lot of hits. Since I am not much help in beta testing maybe I can be of some help in marketing. After all, we would like to get as many like minded people into this game as possible. 1
