Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Thinking further, since the gun must be run out to fire, I can see that information being available on the side your facing only.

It would certainly be cool if we had animations of ships with guns in and then out, way too video processor heavy - but cool! 1
Hazard Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Some UI suggestions: Chat box like WoW, so you can click on tabs between team and all, as well as see what people said in a window in case you miss it in the heat of battle. A unit tag you can click on so you can check status of friends and enemies easier, or raid frame type setup. I have been through the forums quite a bit, so if this is in the wrong spot I apologize for missing it.
Robert Danforth Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 I agree with you on the chatbox bit. Being able to scroll back would be nice. A raid-frame, though, or a group healthbar thing, isn't very realistic. I think some of the mystery adds to the feel of the era.
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 The image itself is outdated, but what it describes is still extremely useful and has value in my opinion. Thanks for keeping an eye on things though!
Aussie Pastor Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Can we have an updated version please. You may want to archive this one and someone with great knowledge on 1/ the UI 2/ forum presentation Would be really good. Thank you guys in advance.
Quineloe Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 That UI looks nothing like the UI I have in the game.
Fletch Hardy Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Can someone please explain the bonuses/advantages when you have different numbers selected in battles like what bonuses does gunnery give, what does sailing give etc? Thank you.
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I don't have hard numbers, but here's the gist: Gunnery - Faster reload, ship max speed and turning abilities reduced, leak patching time greatly increased, no water pumped out, fires spread. Sailing - Faster maximum ship speed, faster turning, reload reduced, leak patching time greatly increased, no water pumped out, fires spread. Survival - Slower reload, slower ship speed, slower ship turning, leaks are patched faster, water is pumped out of the ship, fires are eventually put out (if possible). Boarding - (Assuming here) - Slower reload, slower ship speed, leak patching time greatly increased, no water pumped out, fires spread, slower ship turning, crew more likely to be killed by enemy grape shot, boarding preparation (used to execute commands in a boarding action) slowly increases towards 100.

ironhammer500 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 What exactly does the focus sector do? Does it tell the guns to focus where you set the red line?
