Navigational aid for bearings and distances

You've probably seen this, but for those who haven't .............

 

Click on first location. (green)

Click on destination (orange)

Distance and bearing is shown on the top right of the screen.

You can also drag the two locations at will.

 

Change from Satellite to Map. Much clearer.

can that be used on the map we have already somehow, or swap everything over to that?

Just open it and navigate to the area you are sailing in (zoom out and drag).

 

Make sure you clear any existing markers first (top right of screen).

I use an identical one and it works VERY well.

From the very beginning, this map really helps me especially for long-distance planning. It is a pity that the gap does not give in nautical miles.
