Bolitho Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 (edited) You've probably seen this, but for those who haven't ............. Click on first location. (green) Click on destination (orange) Distance and bearing is shown on the top right of the screen. You can also drag the two locations at will. Change from Satellite to Map. Much clearer. http://www.garywaite.com/scouts/bearings/ Edited June 30, 2015 by Bolitho 5
MikedaBike Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 can that be used on the map we have already somehow, or swap everything over to that?
Bolitho Posted June 30, 2015 Author Posted June 30, 2015 (edited) Just open it and navigate to the area you are sailing in (zoom out and drag). Make sure you clear any existing markers first (top right of screen). Edited June 30, 2015 by Bolitho
Sir Cloudsley-Shovell Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 I use an identical one and it works VERY well.
Jim Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 From the very beginning, this map really helps me especially for long-distance planning. It is a pity that the gap does not give in nautical miles. thx
