Lady Athena Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I've had several times now, where I've attacked a ship to capture it, only to have 4-5 AI spawn in and start hammering the ship while I'm capturing it, doing damage not only to me, but destroying the enemy ship in the process and losing all my hard work in capturing it. There should be commands you can set for the AI so they know not to destroy a certain ship, or at least have the knowledge that if you're capturing a ship to stop shooting at it.
admin Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 3 commands will come in one of the next patches. Destroy - focus on hull Demast - focus on sails Follow - Avoid combat and follow the player And fleets themselves will be reworked based on player feedback. Several changes will be done to how they work as well. Maintenance per battle Repairs 5 durabilities Availability in battle (to give them protective duty). You will be able to call them into battle only if battle rating difference in the beginning of combat is against you. 1
Crankey Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 As 'commodore' of your ai fleet, could we also request target rated or target unrated. Prioritizing the type of target your ai fleet will see as a priority target leaving you to target others. e.g. Particularly useful to send smaller ai ships after smaller more agile enemy ships while you concentrate on larger vessels

Anyway to impliment a function in their logic so they know to stop shooting a ship you're trying to capture? it's happened 3 times now where the enemy ship was sunk and mine badly damaged by friendly AI shooting at it. Yet, another reason NOT to have Kickass ships as your pets - sort of like keeping Tigers in your house
gorynych Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 (edited) Will we be able to assign specific target for our fleet or chose ammo type (chains, grape, etc) for AI fleet? Edited June 28, 2015 by gorynych
