My question is that when Open World is released to other players like me who did not get a chance to grind up to the ship we needed; how will we be given this information? Will there be an update on Steam? E-mail? or do we need to just camp the forums for a new download? Thanks in advance 1

Leviathan Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 There should be a post on the forums when it happens. It could happen any day within the next 2-3 weeks. They are just waiting for the server infrastructure to handle the load.

Many times this force someone (it happens more than once to me) abandon a great ship to buy a basic Lynx to replace it at a loss of money and Equipment invested in it. Stupid.

That doesn't make any sense. A repair kit is an item that has to be scavenged for, and you can only carry a limited amount. Repairs are paid for with cash that is always with you in full. If it does not it's guaranteed at patch 3 (another 2 weeks) or somewhere in between. short version: it will happen within 30 days from today. I found it...

Or is it to much work for a money only game? If it is not an open game it shold be advertise as such. ui speak here not it battle repair kit but the one that can be bough or found after battle. The repairs we have are supposed to help you in enemy or foreighn territory. When you have no port close but want to fight on. Or simply are forced to repair because anytime you can be attacked. What I could understand is a kind of repair wich is done by the crew. It takes a few hours to get the ship back in shape but it costs you less money. You only have to pay for the materials needed rather the manpower wich instantly heals your ship to 100%. His there a delay or a date for the PVE version of the "Open World"? Ask in the "questions to dev" thread. What I can tell you is this: We are testing very early iterations of the open world. I assume that PvE servers are not yet on the high priority list.
