mouse of war Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 I spotted an unusual sailing vessel off Christchurch this morning - it seems to be an original 18th century vessel though I haven't heard of this exact type before. It has a single square rigged mast and 3 gun ports per side. Possibly stern chasers too. What is interesting is the unique light blue colour of hull which I believe would act as very effective camouflage. I have a picture I could upload if anyone's interested. regards
Anto Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Give us that picture, or give us death... Preferably the picture.
mouse of war Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 Ah - just realised I don't know how to upload a picture - do I have to upload the image somewhere first then paste in the URL?
mouse of war Posted June 7, 2015 Author Posted June 7, 2015 As you see the ships name is HMS Teddy and appears to be some sort of armed mechantman
Brandonchat Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 i think its a variant of the trader snow coz it has 3 very very short cannons on it Looks like it is stuck on the shallows though
BlueEagleGER Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 As much fun it was: this belongs to the tavern I guess.
