Lovec1990 Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 I have a question for devs and admin: it was said 3rd imported ship may be Constitution refit, but why not use Santa Cecilia? She is similar to L'Hermione but much nicer looking i belive she will be better choice becouse she is light frigate compared to super frigate that is constitution. 1
mikawa Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Now that we have the first DLC - two further questions: - what happened to the Pandora? It was announced as a giveaway - what happened to the santa cecila - can we have it as DLC redeemable too? 1

Pandora is still in work, nothing from the initial announcement about her has been changed so far. The ship will be added on live servers once she is ready. 2

But why you do not offer her as premium its a good choice people will buy her she is also les problematic in term of balance?
I Corn Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Along with the already implemented DLC's, in particular Xebec and Hercules, i have noticed talk of the possibility of other frigate / battle designed vessels to be added at a later date. All very nice to hear, however, the poor old trader type chap, which is part of the game too, will be left crafting his vessels after being boarded and sunk by the all over the map DLC ships as they sail off savouring their juicy PvP marks (or upcoming alternative). Q: Is there any intention to produce/provide a Trader ship to the DLC for NA? Thanks for your time. Fair winds, safe seas. I'm hitting the hammock now gn o7 (Closet Carebear / Trader Rat; part time) 1
Saint George Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 (edited) There is a bug with the Open World trading feature that was implemented that allows transfer of cargo between ships at sea. It allows a player to move a full load of cargo from ship of much greater hold size to the hold of a much smaller ship and do so as many times as the smaller ship has hold slots for. The cargo transferred occupies a single hold slot of the target ship without a load restriction. In the example pictured, a player has moved 133 Danish Beer from the hold of an Indiaman to the hold of a Basic Cutter 16 times, once for each hold slot on the Basic Cutter. Bluetooth Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 Devs could we have some sort of blockade runner (trader), which can enter any port at all. I think this would really open up trading excitement and add to pvp. Nice DLC for the privateer trader types. 1

Yeah, but I meant a nice dlc ship with special abilities such as choose your flag on time limit like 5 mins with 30 min cool down then it reverts to your normal flag and stuff like that. "This is not the ship your looking for"

Lovec1990 Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Greetings, is there any plan too make Victory marks more important? currently Victory mark is only useful if you want too craft 1st rate.
hoarmurath Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Will agressive NPCs ever return, along with NPC reinforcements? Since smuggling ships were removed, the constant reinforcement of battles against smugglers shouldn't be a problem anymore? 1

Why should VMs be more important? If they were not there it would be better! Instead the first rate should be more rare and to craft them should take more raw materials (and not VMs!). More demand for raw materials = more trade = more importance for players who prefer this part of the game. Even the first rank should be possible to build them with PvP marks so even those who do not like trading would have access to it. But I have already said this many times 🙄 2

I think admin mentioned that aggressive NPCs were just an annoyance as players didn't want to fight them and could easily escape = waste of time. Both, aggressive npcs used to be the only content in the game. That's when the game was still fun and challenging. It was removed, and now there's no content, the world of NA is dull, nothing ever happen if no player initiate it. They can add all the missions they want, the world will still be dull, uninteresting. Waste of time? Being attacked by players is also a waste of time, the only players that find it's not a waste of time are those who are actively seeking action. If the devs are so concerned with players not wasting time, i suggest they remove aggressive players too. Then nobody would be wasting time anymore. 2
Tiedemann Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 In Port Battles: Do developers agree that there is a problem with the 3 circles system and the possibility to deny the enemy team points by using low BR ships to block point generation? 2
