Leaving a battle still gives XP?

Hey chaps,

 

Not in the OW yet. Just doing some pve/pvp. 

Currently in a PVE light ships battle with 2 other people. 2 of us died, the 3rd was AFK and not he's disconnected. Yet the battle is still going on... 28 minutes left. If we leave, do we still get the XP?

 

It's odd that the game hasn't ended since no one is even there.

Yes, you still get XP. If you do not join another match the result screen will eventually pop up as well.

Yup!  Sometimes it's more profitable from a time/XP approach to leave and start a new battle.

there is an indicator on TOP of the screen telling

"Can leave" if you can leave the battle
