Captain BlackVane Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Having Sea Shantys in game would be awesome!! Only request to go along with that though is of course the in game option to turn music down or off of course... But yes, this would be awesome.

Lady Athena Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) Ok, so this music wasn't actually made by me. It's more of a collection of music that fits this game so well, that when I play it, I forget I'm running it in the background. It's also based on a Crusader Kings II music mod funny enough by Dorimi. These songs not only in my opinion, make the battles feel that much more rustic and epic, but also really helps make the time go by faster as you're sailing in the open world. I personally can't play this game without running these songs anymore in the background :3 so if you're into music hopefully this'll be just as immersive and awesome as it is for me. 80 beautiful songs are in the collection. Simply download, unpack, and set them up in a playlist in the music player of your choice and let it sweep you away in the game world. PrezesOi Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 OK I lied. I listened to this while playing UGG not NA But because this is the same company so I feel justified By the way: I'll place my knapsack on my back,My rifle on my shoulder,I'll march away to the firing line,And kill that Yankee soldier,And kill that Yankee soldier,I'll march away to the firing line,And kill that Yankee soldier!!! I'll bid farewell to my wife and child Farewell to my aged mother,And go and join in the bloody strife,Till this cruel war is over,Till this cruel war is over,I'll go and join in the bloody strife,Till this cruel war is over.

Wicked Mouse Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Nice music score. Bit movie-like Personally I prefer music from that era =)
Arnaud Arpes Posted September 17, 2015 Posted September 17, 2015 Some music from the period usually. Really hope something like this makes it in game someday.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8GZg5xj4Gk
Strait Raider Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Hey all, We have the excellent sailing music thread for Age of Sail music, but sailing continued strong well into the 20th century, and the music continues to be made to this day! Coming from a fishing family in Nova Scotia, I grew up with a lot of music that I want to share with you all now. Please share your own local music and especially lesser-known sailing songs! ***** Now, it would be remiss not to start this list the Stan Rogers, a man gone before his time, one of the most powerful voices and songwriters I've ever heard. Now you should all have already heard Barret's Privateers, but I'll post it here just in case, because everyone deserves to hear this: The Yankee lay low down with gold, (I wish I was in Sherbrooke now) She was broad, and fat, and loose in stays, but to catch her took the Antelope two whole days The Mary Ellen Carter, a story of a ship lost, and perseverance. And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow, with smiling bastards lying to ya everywhere you go, Turn to and put out all your strength of arm, and heart, and brain, and like the Mary Ellen Carter, Rise Again! Now, I could probably make a whole thread on Stan Rogers' songs, but I'll move on. Next, The Day the Tall Ships Came by The Irish Rovers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmPTJMHV_Cc Those of us who lined the shores that morning in July, and watched in silent wonder as the ships passed slowly by, could hear them calling to us from beyond the winds of time, and feel the rolling of the decks, and taste the salty brine! Finally, (not that I couldn't do this all day) I'll leave you with Lennie Gallant's Tales of the Phantom Ship, a song about the legendary burning ghost ship of the Northumberland Strait (on which I grew up). The legend is thought to have arisen from the occurrence of St Elmo's Fire on transiting ships. They tell how her bow suddenly drops down, and into the depths of the strait she's bound, and the wind goes wild with wailing, chilling cries.
Captain Holman Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Morning/Afternoon/Evening/whatever Captains, Do you have a favorite maritime song to listen to when sailing? My personal favorite is the Sailors Hornpipe ( ) 1

Pagan Pete Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) Either streaming Baroque music 9classical) Or If I be on the hunt, Alestorm! Alestorm also does an EPIC version of Barrett's Privateers! Edited October 14, 2015 by Pagan Pete 1
Captain Holman Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Either streaming Baroque music 9classical) Or If I be on the hunt, Alestorm! Alestorm also does an EPIC version of Barrett's Privateers! I'll have a look at that later!
Dresarian Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 When I'm not duplicating this thread like a noobish clot, I usually have the sweet strings of Boccherini. Great general sailing music, and still fits in combat. 1
Malachi Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Maybe Jean Baptiste Vanhal, Bach or E.S.T. Or Clutch
Cpt Shadow Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Frisky radio streams, they have two options, Frisky or Chill. I use Frisky in battle and Chill in open world.
