Chromey Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Ok Devs it has been 2 months since you last updated death match and updated only World map and though I dont dislike what your are doing I wish to go only back to the death matches we used to have with 300 people online having fun battles. Could you possibly have one guy update new ships and fire/damage effects to death match so we can test out your new combat mechanics there? Im not saying cancel world map program just some of us want to fight with new ships together more then roam around the lost sea. 2
Jack Frost Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 just wait, it's gonna be 1 big deathmatch when everyone gets invited to OW 1
TheDuffLord Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I have to disagree. I'd much rather they used their full force to work on OW as it's a much larger, difficult task. No doubt when they release a better build of OW they'll implement the changes to Sea Trials too.
admin Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Unfortunately deathmatch fans will have to wait. Or even better help us with the open world testing. Find the group and wreak havoc on the open seas. In the future organized battles will be organically integrated into the open world as missions, escorts, port and fleet battles.
Jac-y-do Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 The Sea Trials were just a testing phase for battle mechanics. Let them work on the next phase of development, the open world!! I want every single one of them concentrating on that as the sooner they get it done, the sooner they will let me into the OW. As someone who has only been playing for the last month or so, It is frustrating that its really difficult to get a big battle. Numbers of players really have dropped. But once we are all in OW it will be epic! Lets be patient and let them get on with development. 1
GrapeShot Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Unfortunately deathmatch fans will have to wait. Or even better help us with the open world testing. I must have missed my invite. We can all do OW testing now?
Jac-y-do Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Not yet GrapeShot Hopefully soon. Although personally I'm not gonna get a Santi unlocked any time soon Hope they let everyone in soon.
GrapeShot Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 (edited) "Or even better help us with the open world testing." I was being sarcastic. I realize they are limiting access to do load testing, but I don't think these guys realize what they sound like to us folks trying to be patient as we wait to get the invite to OW. As a matter of fact -- we would like to help with open world testing and don't need it rubbed in. Yeesh, they could at least fake some sympathy. Edited May 12, 2015 by GrapeShot

We can better help you if you send more invites to OW! like now would be nice
Jeremiah O'Brien Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 We can better help you if you send more invites to OW! like now would be nice It sure would. I think it's time to test for server stress and whatnot 2
Jack Feathersword Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Next patch should allow everyone the open world access. We are having pvp fights on the OW, Much more intense with the loss meaning something. Also different ships are becoming useful. The big difference is just how good the brig and navy brig is now. 1
MikedaBike Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Took me just 6 days (had a holiday) to go from game arriving and Santi unlocked and into OW. You guys should keep at it the last few ships are a breeze you get 10 - 15 k a match just in pve alone, unlocking those last 3 ships which are all at 180k gets quicker than the mid range ships. The damage you put out increases greatly but the needed damage stays the same. Suggest if you really want in you would be in.
SeamanStaines Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Personally I thinks some new players should be invited to testing in order to get feedback on the degree of difficulty that will be experienced from new players. Most of the current testers are wizards with hundreds of hours playing naval combat and are probably unrepresentative of the average player.
