Justme Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Just curious, as I always wondered. What defines hard core vs the casual gamer? Is it more based on the challenge of the games you play, or the amount of hours that you spend your day gaming? At one point in my life I would like to think I was somewhat hardcore, beating games like super Mario bros 1942 and contra without dying, and no cheat codes or shortcuts on those stupid rectangle controllers lol. Although I'm sure kids could do that nowadays without breaking a sweat. So what seperates the 2 distinctions nowadays.
