Mod-ability

Hi folks,

 

I was just browsing the forum, hoping to see an update on some kind of release date or beta, etc. No luck, so I remain quite sad.

 

However, given the origins of this game (loosely speaking) and that I was working on mods for Histwar last night, I wondered if this game is being built with modability in consideration, at all? Will any elements be customizable by the user, such as graphics, AI tweaks, etc? Understand, I'm not asking because anything seen to date looks sub-par or needing a fix, but some of us love to tweak things.

Moddability is considered to be offered in the final release of the game yes. When we get Greenlight from Steam (hopefully with everyone's support) in the early access version of the game we will ask all users what they desire and will try to offer as many modding options as possible. A battle editor for example is something we thin about as a future feature.
