Fortify Button only in IOS version?

I was searching to find what the melee and targeted symbols meant, as I couldn't find an explanation anywhere in my desktop version.  I was searching everywhere before coming to the forum to ask (as I've seen people almost torn apart on other forums for not searching first) and I found the symbols explained in the guide for the iOS version.

 

As well though, I saw the fortify button in the iOS version, that allows the unit to defend more effectively.  But I have not seen that button in my version.  Is that something that's in the works?  How do I get units in the desktop version to fortify or defend more effectively?

The fortify feature is implemented only in iOS version(different game design). We don't have plans to add that into PC version in short future.

I really would like to see the fortify button added in the PC version.
