link function doesn't work for me

I have been wanting to link videos and other copy/paste links but I cannot make anything work. I can bring up the window, add a URL, click ok and then nothing happens. it wont even let me close the window. I have to exit the whole website to get rid of the window.

 

I want to link a pdf in the post about cannon but am unable to get it to work.

 

I have Windows 8, maybe there is something wrong there.

To add video link, simply paste the url and hit post. No need to hit link.

Can you try using different browser?

I suddenly had issues with Quoting others in post and copy/pasting anything into a post.

 

I moved to Chrome web browser and it all works.

 

I think its a Internet Explorer issue. Thats my guess

Try Chrome or Firefox.  I know it's a pain, but the forum is third party software and they may have introduced a bug with IE.  If it works in another browser, you may have to use that for a while.

i went ahead and installed Google Chrome for my browser and that fixed the pasting / linking problem.
