TheFurTrapper Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 (edited) Playing as A-H on legendary, 1900 start. Took Malta and Cyprus from Britain in the early aughts, which made everyone passing through the Med cause relationships to erode. I've been at war constantly for three years or so at this point, because everyone's TFs pass through the Central and Western Med, eroding relations. Currently, I am either at war this or have pending alliances with every major power in the world. Somehow I'm not at war with Italy right next door, but Japan and the US see me as a threat? I've had this game going for a month or so, at least since before the difficulty rework. Am I missing fixes because it is old-ish? Should I just junk it and start fresh? How frequently do I need to be trashing campaigns when 'patches' are released? Edited December 9, 2024 by TheFurTrapper 1
Cryadis Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Maybe relevant but i found out having no fleets OR setting your fleets in Port to "Limited" has a great effect on positive relation of other nations passing by. Imo the Tension system is not that bad once you work it, stillt here is the issue if you are at war i.e. in the Med sea you absolutly need to move ships there and this can cause as snowball. Improving relation with other nations i figured is a must (one turn use your invade, next improve somewhere and so on)
