Ever gonna correct the issue where a ship receives damage from one side but visually the damage is on the other side? 

Ever since I started playing this game I still see this happening from time to time. Enemy ship fires in to my ship's starboard side but the black damage texture is on my ship's port side.

Very strange how developers keep ignoring certain issues for several years, they don't even respond to such reports.

Why am I losing money every turn? I'm not building or refitting atm, there is no war, conquests, or land invasions. GDP is 9%. So why is my monthly balance going down every turn?

How many ships do you have? Ships need also money when they are in port. Even on in Being.

So here are my Finances with a one-turn difference. It seems like the more Transports I have, the more money I spend. Which is confusing. I thought that the more transports you have, the more money you earn. Either I was wrong, or there is a bug there

In fact the irony of you posting that battle is that it was the destroyers being ambushed, not the Japanese capital ships, so it doesn't even support whatever angle you're using against me.

The only real WW2 example of one of UAD's "Destroyer Attack" missions is the Battle of Malacca Strait, and this battle was the result of the Allies having intelligence that allowed such a precise torpedo ambush to be pulled off with destroyers.

Hello Nick,

Sometime in the 1.6.1.3 X?, Class refit got broke again...

It was working almost perfectly on 1.6.1.2

- Design a ship called "Cruiser"
- Build any amount
- Get a new Tech, refit "Cruiser (1892)-2"
- Copy the "Cruiser (1892)-2" name it "Cruiser R02"
- At this moment all "Cruiser R02" should be able to refit into "Cruiser (1892)-2" they don't...
- Delete "Cruiser R02"
- Get a new Tech,  or change something refit "Cruiser (1892)-2" to  "Cruiser (1893)-3"
- At this moment original "Cruiser" and "Cruiser R02" should be able to refit into "Cruiser (1893)-3"
- Only the "Cruiser (1892)-2" are able to refit into latest...

There is a workaround, but having to refit every single newly built ship is kind of annoying :)

Anyone else experiencing this?

Probably you already know, but only ships in port can refit. Did you check if the ships you mention are in port?

Additionally. you need to have at least one ship built from the class to be able to make a refit for it.

I have 1.6.1.3 Live Rx6. No mods...

I started this campaign a week ago or so. There have been some updates since then. Not sure if it helps

Sorry, I thought it was meant for a problem that was solved. Well, it depends from your economy. A large economy needs a lot more money to increase transport capacity, but transport capacity will be also much less prone to depleting due to transport losses. You do not need to spend too much money to make it 200% if you need funds for other things.

Sorry, can't edit the previous message. The problem I'm facing is that I'm losing money at every turn. The number of Transports is growing slowly so the expenses are growing too. Those transports must give money, not take it away I suppose. Or how can I stop building them or decrease the number to stop losing money?

I just set the transport capacity at 0.00%. Still losing money :( But at least I have a positive balance now. But with the need to refit my ships, I will have it negative soon.

tr_capacity_cost,0.001575,percentage of GDP as max. cost of TR capacity

These are atleast 2 of the modifiers. So at max capacity you get a bonus (the values above are not vanilla numbers, as I have edited most of the economy from a-z), but transports is also a cost even at max capacity, as the cost of having the transports is real. 
Do you have colonies around the globe? Could maybe explain the high costs?

I have half of the globe captured :) Didn't know it could be a problem as those territories produce money and I have a positive GDP...

The cost is very high due to the very high GDP, it seems. Please make an in-game report, so we can check it out. Transport capacity cost, should dissipate but seems that it needs to be more.

The first gives a bonus to GDP when you reach maximum transport capacity.
The second is a linear cost of TR capacity but if you make it too small, then it will not matter in early years. There has to be a hard coded fix for very high GDP cost of TR capacity.

Uploaded repaired version x7:
- Further economy fixes/improvements based on the recent feedback. Overall there should be a more manageable economy for both human player and AI.
You have to restart Steam to get this update fast

Weeell. Japanese didn't know who were they fighting against. They even thought that they sank a US cruiser. So I think this case can be considered an ambush.

Sent additional in-game report about Military conflicts. There are 2 Military conflicts in my campaign (I do not participate in those). In both conflicts attacking side has enough tonnage but the chance to succeed is 0%. There is no change of chances between turns

Update. For some Conflicts I see progress. For others - don't. Also, that one conflict that is shown on a screenshot that I submitted was 0% all the time but China still succeeded.
