game updated and now wont run

Game updated through steam, i had some issues so i reinstalled the game completely after deleting the directories. Still not launching. It will launch with a small screen thats a admirals hat on a white background with a loading bar on the bottom, top says unity engine, game crashes after that. Unsure what to do.

Update: I tried launching the game from steam rather than the exe on taskbar that i usually use, it launched. I tried to launch it from the exe in the steam directory and it presented that same issue
